I am the person who created this program. I did so because I believe in the amazing progress that can be achieved, given the right environment and resources. I am a pediatric Occupational Therapist and have worked with medically fragile children for over 15 years.

My center values the child's medical, developmental and social needs. I personally oversee the center on a daily basis and invite you to come and see why our parents chose BrightStart for their child.

Director of Nursing - Orlando

I am the Director of Nursing for BrightStart. I am one of the nurses in the center, and also oversee the coordination of their care. I talk often with our parents regarding the specifics of their child's protocol. I am fluent in Spanish and English, and have found this to be very helpful. It is so important that we respect and support each other. It is the only way to provide the best care to the child.

I'm the Director of Nursing for the newest BrightStart location in Sanford. My nursing career started in Baltimore in the NICU. My pediatric experience also includes positions in health department and school nursing, home care, and case management. Providing the best care for our special patients gives me great satisfaction both personally and professionally.

I love my BrightStart family! My role as Office Manager includes financial responsibilities - I manage the payroll for our staff, and the billing for our patients and families. This part of our business can have as much impact as the care we provide. I take great pride in my work and I am pleased to be a resource of information and assistance with Medicaid and insurance processes.

My role allows me to enjoy everything about our unique program, since I am involved with the intake and admission of new patients, communicating with our established patients and families, and promoting BrightStart in the Central Florida community.
